I am a huge fan of Dilbert 😊 and this one typifies what I believe is a key stumbling block to engagement during change. It’s not just asking for peoples opinions. It can take so many forms and as Change practitioners we can be creative in advising and recommending a wide range of options to senior managers depending on the context.
But I can tick a box and say that they were consulted…whether it was effective or not surely isnt the point right? 😉
